In the published article, Mojaki, L.M., Tuyikeze, T. & Ndlovu, N.K., 2024, 'Revolution of South African public procurement in the Industry 4.0 era', Journal of Transport and Supply Chain Management 18(0), a1079. https://doi.org/10.4102/jtscm.v18i0.1079 there was an error with the year of Public Finance Management Act, incorrectly captured as 1996 instead of 1999.

This error is on the abstract under Results in the last sentence, and also under the heading e-Supplier selection, in the first sentence and reference list. The correct source should be: Republic of South Africa (RSA), 1999, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), No 1 of 1999, Government Printing Works, Pretoria.

The authors apologise for this error. The correction does not change the study's findings, its significance or overall interpretation of the study's results or the scientific conclusions of the article in any way.
