In the published article, Kabongo, K.T.L. & Stork, J., 2022, 'African-initiated churches and environmental care in Limpopo, South Africa: A missional enquiry', Verbum et Ecclesia 43(1), a2636. https://doi.org/10.4102/ve.v43i1.2636, the authors neglected to include the funder German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in the framework of the project 'Driving Forces of Transformation - Religious Communities as Actors of Sustainable Development', 105 E1070-0054/006 to Juliane Stork.

The authors apologise for this error. The correction does not change the study's findings of significance or overall interpretation of the study's results or the scientific conclusions of the article in any way.
