Tatenda Bvumbe is a Mechanical Engineer with a BSc Eng. (Hons) from the University of Zimbabwe. He has previously worked for the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe in their Airports Development section and is currently pursuing an M Sc (Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering focusing on solar powered absorption cooling systems.

 

Sunil Chamoli

Sunil Chamoli is a research scholar at GRDIMT, Dehradun, Utlarakhand, India. His research interests include heat and mass transfer, and solar thermal applications. He has published one paper in an international journal and two at national conferences.

Dr Freddie Inambao is a Senior Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He has published papers in reputable Journals and presented papers at both National and International levels in the field of Alternative and Renewable Energy, Energy Management and Internal Combustion Engines and related fields. Dr Inambao holds an M Sc in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Technical Sciences from Volgograd Polytechnical Institute.

 

Wim Jonker Klunne

Wim Jonker Klunne is a renowned hydropower expert and has worked on a wide range of education, research and implementation projects around the world on behalf of the African Development Bank, World Bank, ECN, UNDP, GEF and bilater-als. Currently Wim is working at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa as senior researcher on a wide range of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Wim is currently conducting PhD research with the University of Twente on the sustainability of small hydropower projects in East and Southern Africa. He is also the driving force behind the microhy-dropower.net internet portal and discussion forum, as well as the webmaster of hydro4africa.net.

Meena D. Lysko is a senior researcher and research group leader at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. She holds an MSc (Physics) from the University of Durban Westville, South Africa and a PhD (Physics) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include space photonics with emphasis on solar radiometry and satellite sensor calibration and validation.

Sophie T. Mulaudzi is a junior lecturer in the Department of Physics, University of Venda. She has been carrying out research in the field of renewable energy and in particular solar radiation for the past five years.
