In the published article, Nyirenda, M., 2021, 'The pastor as spiritual mediator between God and the congregation: Corruptions of the relationships of the "under-shepherd", the "flock" and the "chief shepherd" in a Zambian context and their implications for spiritual maturity', HTS Teologiese Studies/Theological Studies 77(4), a6349. https://doi.org/10.4102/hts.v77i4.6349 there was an error regarding the affiliation for Misheck Nyirenda. As well as having affiliation 1, Department of Biblical Studies, Beroea Centre of Excellence, Chilanga, Zambia, the author should also have Department of Hebrew, Faculty of Humanities, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa.

The author apologises for this error. The correction does not change the study's findings its significance or overall interpretation of the results or the scientific conclusions of the article in any way.
