In the article 'Piroplasm parasites of white rhinoceroses (Ceratotherium simum) in the Kruger National Park, and their relation to anaemia' by D Govender,M C"Oosthuisen" and B L Penzhorn that appeared in the Journal of the South African Veterinary Association (2011) 82(1): 36-40, the surname of the second author was inadvertently altered during pre-press manuscript processing. The correct citation should read as follows:
