    The following marine organisms' scientific names were erroneously reported:

    Limpets: Cymbula granatina and C. oculus

    Sea urchins: Parechinus angulosus

    Starfish: Marthasterias africana

    Top shells: Oxystele tigrina (also erroneously called sea snails)

    Sea weed: Ulva sp.

    The errors appear in the following instances:

    Page 1, paragraph one, lines 7 and 8

    Page 3, column 1, paragraph 5, under 'Sample collection and handling', lines 1, 2 and 3

    Page 4, column 1, paragraph 2, under Findings: Organic pollutants in marine organisms and seawater', lines 3, 4 and 5

    Mussels were correctly identified as Mytilus galloprovincialis.
