Basic Information

South African Journal of Bioethics and Law is an online, peer–reviewed journal that covers matters related to ethics, law, human rights and related matters for the health professions.

The Journal carries research articles and letters, editorials, clinical practice contributions, personal opinions and other topics related to biomedical law and human rights issues. It also carries related South African health–related news, obituaries and general correspondence.

It aims to provide a platform for the publication of robustly researched and analysed bioethical and legal resource material for application in the health sciences domain.

The journal publishes three issues per year in May, September, and December.

Publication language for Articles, Abstracts and Keywords is English.

Key abbreviated title of the journal is S. Afr. j. bioeth. law.
