Scope and editorial policy
The journal is the only accredited dental publication in Southern Africa and therefore offers an important resource for research in the country. Each issue also includes short communications dealing with specific aspects of dentistry as well as a regular column of information provided by the Association. The Journal also offers members the opportunity for meeting the requirements of Continued Professional Development by providing a (CPD) Questionnaire in each issue for accreditation points.
Essentially the policy is, as far as possible, to publish research and clinical papers submitted by South African authors although papers from elsewhere are accepted on occasion.
