The journal publishes general articles, notes and case notes on topical legal issues and legal research. Articles, abstracts and keywords need to be written in English. |
Manuscript Form and Preparation
|
Contributions are received throughout the year and will be subject to peer-review prior to being accepted for publication. An English summary not exceeding 300 words must accompany the submission of full-length articles, which must preferably not exceed 7000 words. Information on the instructions for authors and the types of articles received for publication, preparing a manuscript for submission to OBITER and the online submission process is placed on the website. Currently, all contributions must be sent via email to Shireen.Gillespie@mandela.ac.za in a file written in a recent version of Microsoft Word. It may also be required that a hard copy of a contribution be sent to the following address: The Editor, OBITER, Faculty of Law, PO Box 77000, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth, 6031. Page charges are levied. The tariff is R150,00 per page with a minimum of R800,00 per contribution. |
