The Journal of Vocational, Adult and Continuing Education and Training (JOVACET) publishes robust and empirical research that reflects on all aspects of vocational, adult and continuing education and training. New knowledge emerging out of complex developmental contexts has significant value and needs to be showcased beyond existing geographical and political boundaries. The journal is committed also to encouraging emerging researchers by providing them with a space to present and defend their research amongst a network of global scholars.

The journal disseminates original, quality peer–reviewed research and scholarly endeavours that advance the fields of vocational, adult and continuing education in South Africa, on the African continent, and in international contexts.

Publication language for articles and abstracts is English.

The journal publishes one issue a year in November.
