The SAIEE Africa Research Journal of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers, is an accredited, peer reviewed research journal published quarterly, covering research in all fields of electrical engineering. It is the only peer reviewed journal in the local electrical engineering sector in South Africa. The journal initiated as the Transactions of the SAIEE journal in 1909 and covers all areas of electrical engineering and in relation of IEEE-designated fields.

The journal publishes Research and Review Articles.

The publication language for Articles, Abstracts and Keywords is English.

The journal is published quarterly, in March, May, August and December. In 2024 the journal will publish a special issue in celebration of its 40th anniversary. Papers will be published from June to August.
